Isidora Concetta Schultz

Isidora Concetta Schultz, 87, of Gallatin, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Stefana (Piraino) diLuzio. Isidora was employed by Western Electric for 14 years as a secretary. She later devoted many years of service as Court Clerk for the Towns of Gallatin and Livingston. Dora was the founder of the NYS Court Clerks Association and proudly served as its Treasurer. Throughout her distinguished career, she received numerous honors, including Court Clerk of the Year and a Certificate of Excellence. She later continued her service as a Court Clerk trainee, always dedicated to her profession and community. Above all, Isidora was deeply devoted to her family. She was actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She had an incredible way of walking into a room and instantly warming it, brightening it, and making everyone feel seen and cherished. Her laugh was contagious, her hugs were healing, and her love was the kind you carry with you forever. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Frederick C. Schultz. Fred and Dora met in 1968 in Long Beach, NY, and were married on September 20, 1970, sharing 56 years of marriage together. In 1977, they moved their family to Ancram, NY, where they built a beautiful life and lasting legacy together. She was predeceased by her loving brother, Vincent Scotto, and her son-in-law, Charles H. Dingman. Isidora is survived by her devoted husband, Frederick C. Schultz; her sons, Frederick C. Schultz Jr. and Robert V. Schultz (Robyn Christensen); her daughter, Stephanie A. Dingman; and the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Charles Dingman (Kelsey Winters) and Caitlyn Dingman (Jose Blay). She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sacco Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Hudson. A Prayer Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Isidora’s memory to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
