Donald L. Doughty 82, of Ocala Florida and formerly of Route 66 in Ghent, NY, died Saturday April 18, 2015 at his home in Ocala under the care of Hospice of Marion County. Born June 6, 1932 in Lakeview, NY Don was an Inspector for Mosquito Controll in Nassau, NY until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and greatly enjoyed gardening and landscaping in his spare time. Donald is survived by his wife Stella M. (Wright) Doughty at home, brothers: Edwin, Kenneth and Michael, and sisters Pearl J. Marro and Sandra L. Giles. As his final wishes are to be carried out, there are no calling hours or funeral services planned. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, Hudson, NY.
