Harry A. Desposito of Stockport, died Monday June 3 at his home following a long illness. He was 70. Born in Manhattan on January 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Mary Boland Desposito. He was also the step-son of the late Albert Lane. Harry was the owner and operator of Desposito Trenching Inc. for many years until his retirement. He was an avid member of the Glencadia Rod and Gun Club. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather. He is survived by his wife Melody A. (King) Desposito, one son Frank A. Desposito, daughter Laurie and (John) McBride, 2 sisters Helen and Pastor Bernard Knefley and Theresa Castle, grandchildren: Cynthia, Frank Jr., John Jr., Michael, Matthew and Dylan, one sister-in-law Linda Desposito and his many friends. He was pre-deceased by a brother Robert Desposito. Calling hours will begin Thursday morning from 11am-2pm at the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Hudson. Services will be at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 with Rev. Bernard Knefley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Stuyvesant Falls.
