Jean West

March 22, 1935 - February 19, 2015

Jean A. West, 79, of Ghent passed away Thursday February 19, 2015 with her loving family by her side, at the Pine Haven Home in Philmont. Born in Hudson on March 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Altheiser) Radewitz. Jean was employed most of her life at the Fairview Cinema 3 in Hudson where she worked closely with her longtime friend Bruce Mitchinson. Jean was an avid NY Mets fan and especially enjoyed Sunday dinners and vacationing with her family at Alpine Lake Campsite and Rockport, MA. In addition to her parents, Jean was pre-deceased by her husband Edward T. West, and her beautiful granddaughter Megan Dallas. Jean is survived by her loving sister Joan Caggianelli, her son Thomas West (Kate), and daughters Patti West, Theresa Decker (Brian), Bridget Shetsky (John), fourteen grandchildren: Michelle, Kristen, Brian, Nicole, Zack, Julia, Jacob, Johnny, Jace, Jon, Hailee, Isaiah, Brianna and Ryan, two great-grandchildren Brian Evan and Maddox Christopher along with several cousins neices and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday February 23, from (5-8)pm at the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home 700 Town Hall Drive Hudson. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev.
