John A. Heins 94, of Claverack, died peacefully Thursday November 25, 2021 at Pine Haven Home in Philmont. Born November 24, 1927 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Henry and Adelaide (Burfeind) Heins. John was a lifelong Dairy Farmer and owner of the Heins Crest Farm in Claverack. He was an Elder at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hudson. John will be greatly missed by his loving family including his wife: Susan E. (Stock) Heins at home, his son Chris Heins, many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as the Church community. He was pre-deceased by one sister Catherine Monthie. Memorial services will be held at 11am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 8 Storm Ave. Hudson, NY on Saturday December 4, 2021 with Pastor Stanley Webster officiating. Burial in Mellenville Union Cemetery at a future date.
