Mary R. Ranzoni, 83, of Greenport, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 25, 2017 at home in the company of her loving family. Born in Hudson, NY on October 17, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Carmela (Concra) Tanzillo. Mary attended St. Mary's Academy, and later was a seamstress for Sylvia's Dress Shop in Hudson for many years. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Hudson. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 62 years Bernard "Bernie" Ranzoni at home, 3 daughters: Donna and (Frank) Klein of Greenport, Rita and (Bob) LaCasse of Greenport, AnnMarie and (David) Proper of NC., 2 brothers: Pat and (Marge) Tanzillo of Stottville, Peter and (Rosemary) Tanzillo of Greenport, and her sister Rosemary and (Richard) Goetz of Hudson, grandchildren: Meredith and (Lou) Zapp, Laura Klein, Andrew Klein, Bob and (Heather) LaCasse, Joe and (Yoko) LaCasse, Michael LaCasse, Jennifer and (Mike) Enyeart, Meagan and (Chris) Porter, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Tuesday February 28, from (11:00AM-12:30PM) at the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home 700 Town Hall Drive Hudson. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 at the funeral home with Deacon Paul Roemer Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
