Christopher Michael Kinney

Christopher Michael Kinney of Hudson passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41 on Sunday June 15, 2025 in Hudson. He has left behind and will be eternally missed by his mother Eleanor Kinney, grandmother Maria DeLeo, his Uncle/Godfather Fred Deleo and sister, Tina Kinney, and brother, Robert Kinney Sr. (Debi) Also his brothers David Stover Jr. and Kyle Stover (Lisa) and his sisters Marlana Taylor and Olivia Davis. Christopher was an amazing uncle to each and every one of his nieces and nephews who include Jeremiah, Robert Jr, and Cloey , Sky and Jonni, Camron, Logan, Morgan, and Brooke and Mia and Mila. He is also leaving behind his nephew, Zachary, whom he loved dearly and thought of as a son and his cousin Jackie Laird. Chris spent 11 years in a loving relationship with Lynda Lane. Chris was a light in the life of everyone who knew him. He was caring, funny and giving beyond his own means. Christopher enjoyed nature and found treasure in the strangest of places. He was thoughtful in the unique gifts he would find and give to the ones he cared for. He was a gentle man with a very eclectic and simplistic sense of style. He was most certainly one of a kind. For many years Christopher struggled with his mental health and epilepsy. Christopher never judged anyone and would always help those around him who were in similar circumstances in life. His kindness will never be forgotten. Christopher is predeceased by his "dad" David Stover Sr. and his niece Davina. Services will be held on Tuesday June 24 2025 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Sacco Funeral Home 700 Town Hall Drive Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00pm at Holy Trinity Parish 429 E. Allen St. Hudson NY and the burial will follow at Holy Trinity Nativity Cemetery in Linlithgo. Christopher's family is working to establish a foundation in Christopher's honor to assist those that struggle with being unhoused or battling mental health. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the Christopher Kinney Memorial Foundation and mailed to his mother Eleanor Kinney at 41 School Teacher Rd. Hudson, NY 12534 for the purpose of establishing the foundation and assisting others.
