Florence Anna Mollo

Florence Anna Mollo (nee Salatino), born January 15, 1951 has won the battle and has gone to live at her eternal home in Heaven on August 13, 2022. Florence lived in Germantown, NY, Red Hook, and Deerfield Beach, Florida. She was born in Manhattan Hospital and lived in Brooklyn, NY from 1951 until 1986. She has joined her late (1990) beloved sweetheart husband of 20 years Thomas A Mollo Jr, as well as her father Anthony Salatino, mother Florence Salatino (nee Voglio), sister Lillian D'amico, sister Anna Scibelli (2022), and brother Frank Salatino in heaven. Flo was a vibrant, loving, devoted Christian woman who loved Jesus Christ and personally knew Him very well as her Savior and Lord. Her favorite Bible verses were Proverbs 3:4-5 "Trust in Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." And Matthew 19:26 "Jesus said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." She blessed and shared her faith with everyone she bumped into everywhere, always saying "God Bless you." She was a loyal true blue proud american, loving that song, proud to be an American. She was a die hard Mets, Yankees, Jeter, Patriots and Giants football as well as Tom Brady. She was a down to earth, loving selfless mother of Thomas A Mollo III and his wife Kendra Mollo of Germantown, and to Mary Mollo & her fiancee Peter Freglette of Boca Raton, Florida. Since 2019, Flo lived with her son and 7 grandchildren (Gianna who's now married to Jacob Szafran; Tommy, Jonathan "JoJo", Isabella, Paige, Christopher, and Sabrina). She loved being a hands on Grandma, playing with Barbies, horses, and Legos on the floor, as well as checkers, uno, and Miles Bourne with everyone, including many of her grandchildren's friends who all loved her and affectionately referred to her as their Gramma Flo. She absolutely loved being a great grandmother to Elijah and Joshua Szafran. She was filled with life, and advice and freely gave it and all her love to everyone she ever saw or knew. She will be sorely missed by each one of us, including her sister Martha Small, nee Salatino, and all of her many many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and especially her church family at Rock Solid Church. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at 9am at Rock Solid Church located at 334 Union Street, Hudson, NY followed by interment at St Sylvia's Cemetery in Tivoli NY.
