This is a flexible role with both short-term and long-term contract options, where remuneration can be tailored to suit the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

• Licensed NYS Funeral Director
• Possess a valid NYS Driver’s License

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

3. Accept on-call status as required
4. Coordinate service arrangements and pre-arrangements. Thorough knowledge of the NYS EDRS system, initiation of necessary processes, submit all forms completed, order services and merchandise. Must routinely communicate clearly and efficiently with accurate detail
5. Willingly perform job duties as needed, assigned, or directed
6. Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of Embalming, Restoration, Cosmetology, and final presentation of remains

Essential Physical Responsibilities:

• Possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull as situation dictates
• This position will require performing a wide variety of functions from a sedentary position to those requiring heavy physical effort on routine daily tasks
